    1. I have 99 problems but a fine isn't one.

It's just one less problem for me and a few others here at Jade, it appears not for you. However, I know there are many more problems now and ahead for Jade. Like all things, they will have to get resolved eventually as well.
What are property lines coming real soon? Do you mean fines?

  3. Good news! Remainders of the disabled Board and new management started acting like the previous one.
I believe that all of you were in shock when you've pulled the Comcast letter from your mail box yesterday.
I personally find this action (terminating a contract with Comcast) without letting unit owners know completely indecent and disrespectful. What is going on? For how long existing so called Board will continue to violate our Bi-Laws and Florida Statute 718? Obviously, new management took as an example how old management was operating - no information for unit owners. Where are the Minutes from the Board Meetings? Why these people continue to keep us in the dark? How HOA fees are being allocated?
It looks like a curse was put on Jade Winds and we have no way out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. Maybe the Board and the Management think that we are flock of sheep and they are our shepherds with the sticks in their hands to point our way to happiness and prosperity?

    1. Yes. According to the Comcast letter dated December 22, 2014 and addressed to the residents of Jade Winds: "Effective January 9, 2015, Comcast will no longer provide XFINITY TV service to you as a common expense through your homeowners association because the Jade Winds Condo Association contract has been renegotiated to provide this service on an individual basis to each homeowner that wishes to subscribe to and pay for XFINITY TV. Beginning January 9, 2015, Comcast will start disconnecting XFINITY TV service for residents who have not contacted us to subscribe to XFINITY TV service."
Very nice Christmas present from the Board and Management!
FYI: according to information received from Comcast today the cost for basic cable service is about $65.00+Taxes. However, as of January 1, 2015 it will be increase in price for service.

    1. According to the Management everything was taken care of, and the residents of Jade Winds will continue to receive the same cable service as they used to. However, after contacting Comcast today I found out that HBO channels will be removed from this basic package. We still though don't have any official information from the office such as simple Note on the wall. Why we don't have a management that respects the residents? From the other hand, our own Board didn't post any Board Meeting minutes either, even though we have a Corporate Secretary.

    2. Thanks for the information. I look forward to verification as well.

  7. First time today contacted new management. Extremely unpleasant aftertaste. I am under impression that even though Donna Mantin is physically gone her terrible apparition is present. Same manners, same attitude. I was informed that "they (the management) have to much work to do and visitors don't let them do their work appropriately". Nice statement, don't you agree? Once again, we have the same rulers in our kingdom. I had to remind this management representative that they were hired to serve the needs of our community, not otherwise. I have serious doubts that this reminder will help, but I have to say one more time that my first visit to the office was too far from the enjoyable one.

    1. Tell me about it... I have been waiting for Barcode for almost 2 months and had to go in 3 times to straighten it out and turns out for some reason it is not registered. They also told me to pay 10 dollars for new one but failed to provide the minutes or any paperwork where the fee has gone up.

    2. Are you sure that minutes exist? In accordance with Bi-Laws and Florida Statute this is a responsibility of the Corporate Secretary to keep all minutes in order and provide them to any unit owner who requested them. We still have previous and current CS on premises. The questions are:
how to contact them and whether new CS is aware of his responsibilities?

  8. Did anyone see an email sent by Donna Mantin? It seems she has purchased a condo at JW and now feels compelled to lead anyone who will join her malitia of the wicked. She threatens to be involved in all the issues involving owners. I find this horribly disturbing. It's like the wicked witch just won't die! Also, what the bleep is going on as far as any progress whatsoever? Living here is like living in a nightmarish world where we have no rights and no way of finding out about anything.
